Job Description Assist in collecting and summarizing key programming, acquisitions, and co-production data to ensure original programming assets are put to their best and most efficient use on Disney Channels Worldwide. Coordinate the flow of programming information into and out of Burbank headquarters by regularly maintaining and updating databases, tracking documents, and intranet site to ensure all key stakeholders in the organization have the latest information they need to manage their particular segments of business. Facilitate communication between programming departments to improve intra-regional dialogue as it pertains to programming, scheduling, and third-party acquisitions
Responsibilities • Post programming information, schedules and documents on the WPS intranet site, digitize materials, update files on site
• Maintain all worldwide tracking documents
• Draft minutes for weekly WPS calls and monthly acquisitions call notes
• Assist in following up on materials due to the WPS team
• Attend relevant Programming meetings
• Support WPS team on managing intake of materials and notes process
• Receive, log, dub, and track acquisition and co-production submissions on an ongoing basis
• Update and maintain the Acquisitions Central database
• Assist in coordinating necessary pre &amp; post market (i.e. Mipcom) materials and reports
• Responsible for internal distribution of WPS and acquisitions materials
• Regularly track, report, and log relevant competitive acquisitions information
• Coordinate monthly updates of the Worldwide Fact Book
• Filing materials
• Additional projects on an as-needed basis.
Basic Qualifications • Minimum 1 year experience in TV or media-related field
• Proficient in the following Applications: Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Keynote, Final Cut, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer
• Must work well with others and be able to manage work load and multi-task to meet crucial deadlines.
• Must be articulate and have good communication skills
• Must be flexible with work hours in order to communicate with colleagues in various time zones around the world
Preferred Qualifications • Children’s television experience
• International television experience
Preferred Education • Bachelor’s degree in Television, Communications, International Relations, or related field preferred
Required Education • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
