2012 Primetime Audience Analysis Internships - Summer (NY)
Job Description The Disney ABC Television Group’s Primetime Research Department is seeking an Intern.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The job entails assisting the group with a variety of daily and weekly tasks including:
- Providing Primetime ratings and various other reports to internal clients and members of senior management.
- Helping to prepare weekly analyses of Primetime programs for Sales and Programming departments.
- Responding to ad hoc requests and other projects as requested.
- Attending meetings with Sales, Media Planners, Digital Reszearch and Primary Research.
- Learning Nielsen systems and getting a better understanding of the television industry.
SKILLS
- Student should possess an interest in television ratings research.
- Reliable, a fast-learner and who is willing to help out the group as well as taking ownership of individual projects.
- Experience with Excel is required.
ELIGIBILITY
The internship program is open to undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in school and have completed their Sophomore year.
Interns MUST meet the following criteria:
- Currently earning a college/university degree in related field
- Available a minimum of 2-3 full days per week
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
Length:
The summer internship program runs from approximately May - August 2012.
Location:
New York City. Students must provide their own housing and transportation.

Compensation:
We offer an attractive hourly salary. Interns are not eligible for company medical benefits, holiday pay or sick pay.
