Logistics Desk Coordinator
Job Description ABC News is seeking a Logistics Desk Coordinator.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Worldwide crew booking for all ABC News platforms, management of company gear including cameras, BGANS and company owned mobile devices. Working on field issues with the IT department. Coordinating deployment of ABC News owned vehicles, KU trucks and safety gear/suppplies as needed. Responsibilities also include courier/transport coordination. Nights and weekend/holiday shifts are required for this position. Must be willing to travel on short notice both domestically and internationally for two or more weeks at a time. This position at times will also require the operation of a motor vehicle.
Basic Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, familiarity with mobile technology (blackberry, iPhone, apps)
- Valid state driver's license
- Willingess to travel on short notice both domestic and international
Preferred Qualifications 1 or more years work experience in a newsroom
Proficient with computer programs including ScheduALL, familiarity with broadcast equipment such as handheld cameras and AVID editing systems.
Preferred Education Degree from a 4 year accredited college or university
