Broadcast Maintenance Technician (NABET)
Job Description The candidate should:
Be able to install, configure, and maintain broadcast equipment
Have a broad knowledge of broadcast signals and test procedures
Be able use test equipment to identify and diagnose problems
Have strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve in-depth problems in an expedient and efficient manner
Be able to perform at a high level while working in an extremely fast paced and often unpredictable production environment
Possess a high standard for quality work
Be able to pass a background check so that the individual may obtain security passes to access our off site locations
Have a minimum of three years experience in a digital broadcast or communications environment
Basic Qualifications 3+ years of broadcast maintenance experience
Preferred Education College Degree
Required Education Certifications and /or demonstrable expertise in:
Editing and servers (AVID Nitris, AVID ISIS, Omneon, Final Cut Pro)
Routers and control (NVision, Miranda, BTS/Jupiter)
Satellite and Microwave reception, transmission and control (Tandberg, Compusat, Vislink/MRC, Troll)
Production switchers (Sony, GVG and Ross), Audio Mixers (SSL and Neve); MCR (iControl, RTS ADAM)
